Creating a shared link or inviting an unregistered user to share data in your Oper8 CloudBox presents a number of options.
The allowed protection levels vary according to the settings in your portal. The following levels may be available:
Public Link - which can be opened by anyone.
Verify with Email - When the recipient clicks on the link, a passcode is sent to the recipient’s email, which they must enter before gaining access. This helps ensure that the invitation cannot be accessed by anyone except the intended recipient.
Verify with SMS – When the recipient clicks on the link, a passcode is sent to the recipient’s cell phone by text message, which they must enter before gaining access. This helps ensure that the invitation cannot be accessed by anyone except the intended recipient.
Registered Users – After clicking the link, the recipient is required to authenticate to the portal using a valid username and password before accessing
the file or folder.
