Important Information for Opticomm FTTB connected customers 

Opticomm FTTB equipment requires mains power to operate, so when the power’s down, so is your telephone line and broadband connection. If you have a serious illness or medical condition, require disability services, have a back-to-base alarms, or require an uninterrupted telephone line, you should consider whether this product is right for you. Please call Oper8 to discuss your alternatives. 

 

Terms & Conditions


All fees and charges are provided as Inc-GST amounts. 


Customers must have a valid ABN. 


Minimum Total Cost is based on payment by Direct Debit, and excludes an Oper8 supplied router. 


Installation: Up to two technicians may be required to install your Communic8 broadband service, one from Opticomm and the other from Oper8. Oper8 reserves the right to charge additional fees for non-standard installations. You must obtain permission from the Owner of the property to have the Opticomm Fibre service installed and you must be over 18 years of age. 


Speed: Internet speeds indicated are maximum theoretical speeds only. This doesn't mean that you will experience the maximum speeds at all times, in fact you will typically experience slower speeds due to a number of factors including demand on the Network and local conditions such as internet traffic, your line condition, your hardware and software, the data source or destination (e.g. the remote website) and your location that prevent or interfere with reception and speed. 


Service Fees and Charges exclude voice services, VoIP and IP telephony services, and any call charges. Oper8 can supply such services under separate offer.
