Setting up your new Office365 based email account is relatively straightforward.


Please note though, that if you will be removing an old (or previously used) corporate email account, possibly based on Microsoft Exchange, your contacts, calendar entries and email should be archived or backed up prior to removing the account.


Simply follow the steps below to connect to your new account.  Note, the process is the same for both iPhones and iPads.


1. Press on the Settings Icon on your iPhone or iPad


2. Scroll down the Settings list, and press on Mail, Contacts, Calendars



3. Press Add Account


4. Press Exchange


5. Enter the following:

  In the Email text box enter your email address e.g. myname@company.com.au

  In the Password text box enter your email account password

  In the Description text box please enter the Account Description as advised by Oper8 or your IT Administrator

Press Next located on the top right of the screen


6. Done

If your account is validated correctly, ticks will appear beside Email and Password


Once your account is validated, please open your email on your iPhone/iPad.


If old messages are visible, click on the Account Description on the Top Left of the Email screen (near 'Inbox'), then select the Account you entered in the Description field above.
